The most frequent question I get from aspiring students is “Am I eligible to pursue a supply chain program?”. Any graduate or diploma candidates with commerce or science or business or engineering or vocational qualifications can pursue the supply chain certification from APICS, USA. The name of this supply chain certification is Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). CPIM is one of the world’s oldest supply chain certification launched way back in 1973 and is considered as the gold standard within supply chain community.
Pursuing CPIM not only helps the young graduates to master the body of knowledge but also differentiates them from the rest of graduates as they have an internally recognised certification. CPIM is a solid strategy to form a strong foundation for your career in supply chain. To learn more about the CPIM program structure, please listen to our podcast on “All About CPIM”.
